Emma Hoyle – Arboricultural Consultant & Operations Manager
Emma has worked for Crown Tree Consultancy since 2015 and is an indispensable member of the team because of her attention to detail and consistent work ethic. She undertakes surveys and writes reports relating to all aspects of arboriculture including planning and development, vegetation related subsidence, tree preservation orders and tree risk assessment.
It’s understood that Emma’s favourite question is, “Is there a topographical survey available?” A testament to her love of accuracy and something which she transposes onto any task she undertakes including the inhouse operations she oversees.
On every project she works on, Emma takes time to thoroughly understand her client’s aims, obstacles and constraints and as such has developed excellent relationships with planning and landscape professionals in many regions of the country and frequently receives positive reviews for the work she undertakes.
Before becoming an arboricultural consultant, Emma worked for two tree surgery firms from 2008 and became an NPTC Qualified tree surgeon after completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture at Askham Bryan College. Her practical understanding of multiple areas of arboricultural practices (such as forest clearance, tree planting, tree maintenance and landscaping) maximise her holistic input on any project. Emma is a member of the Consulting Arboist Society, a Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association and both a Quantitative Tree Risk Assessor and VALID Tree Risk Assessor.
Outside of work, Emma is a bit of a fitness fanatic, enjoying boxing, going to the gym and long walks.
